Wine Tasting at your Home or Venue:

Our 5 glass wine tasting option is specially put together for out-of-store tastings.  This will include a welcoming drink to your guests at only R150 p/p. (Minimum groups of 10)

*A minimal fee will be charged for traveling and accommodation outside of Port Elizabeth.

Wine Tasting at our premises:

Our Tasting Venue is a small, intimate space.  (Maximum 10-guests) We focus on “attention to detail” and offering a true wine tasting experience for our guests. 

Cost: R95 (3 x wines with a pairing) or R120 (5 x wines with a pairing)

Best For: Birthday Parties, Bachelorette’s, Corporate Team Building, Business Meetings and Year-end Functions.

If you are interested in renting our tasting venue, for your small and intimate event, arrangements must be made no later than 30-days prior to your desired date.

Capacity: Maximum of 10-guests for Wine Tasting or Food & Wine Pairings.

What Do We Provide: Seating, cutlery, clean-up related to alcohol and in-house food services, a beautiful setting, secure parking.

Not Provided: Table linen and decorations.

Can I Cater Food From Outside: If you are renting the space for an event, you may bring in food from a caterer.         
Any food brought in by yourself must be cleaned up and removed from the premises after your event.
Please note:  Outside food is ONLY permitted if you are renting the venue space. (R500 per hour)     

Is There A Minimum Beverage Purchase: We can work with you and the nature of your event to decide which option will work best (tastings, pre-selected bottles, cash bar).  Case discounts do not apply for on-site consumption.

May I Decorate For My Own Event: Yes, please!
Note that all decorations and cleaning up will have to be done within the day of your event. We can not take responsibility for items left in store.

Who Cleans Up: Staff at Life is Grape will clean-up anything related to alcohol services.  Anything else brought in from the outside (food, dishes, decorations, etc.) will need to be cleaned up and removed by you or your caterer)
