Booking an Event

 

Our Tasting Venue is an open, small space.  We focus on intimate wine tastings of hand-crafted wines and we like to offer a true wine tasting experience for our guests.  If you are interested in renting our tasting venue, for your event, arrangements must be made no later than 30-days prior to your desired date.

 

Best for:  Intimate Birthday Parties, Bachelorette’s, Anniversary Celebrations and Year-end Functions.                                          Capacity:  Maximum 20-guests for Wine Tasting or Food & Wine Pairings.                                                                                      What do we provide:  Tables, chairs and benches, clean-up related to alcohol services, a beautiful setting, secure parking              Not provide: Table linens, decorations                                                                                                                                        Can I bring in outside food for my event?  If you are renting space for an event, you may bring in food from a licensed caterer.  No home baked goods or hot dishes.  Any food brought in must be cleaned-up and removed from the premises after your event.      Please note:  Outside food is ONLY permitted if you are renting the venue space.   (R750 per hour)                                                Is there a minimum on beverage purchases? Yes.  Please inquire as it will vary on the number of guests.  We can work with you and the nature of your event to decide which option will work best (tastings, pre-selected bottles, cash bar).                                    The table platter menu is available if you choose if you only want to have a wine tasting. We also offer non-alcoholic beverages.    May I decorate for my event?  Yes, Please                                                                                                                              Who cleans up? Staff at Life is Grape will clean-up anything related to alcohol service.   Anything else brought in from the outside (food, dishes, decorations, etc.) will need to be cleaned up and removed by you or your caterer)
